Happy 1st Birthday Jayda

One year ago our family grew by one. This little girl has brought us so much joy. She can make a smile on anyone's face. She's a cutie that's for sure. Her brothers and sister can't wait to wake her up in the morning so they can play. She's a daddy's little girl. She has an easygoing personality like Dustin too. She started walking around 10 months and hasn't looked back. She loves to give kisses. We has 10 teeth.

My wish for you is to find happiness and love in life. Love, mom

Goal Complete: Breastfeeding for 1 Year

Success! I never thought I would be writing this post. But, I did it!

I struggled with Derek and Jenna without much success. With Dylan I was able to breastfeed for 8 months but it certainly still had its challenges. Jayda has been an amazing and peaceful experience I would hope every mother would be able to have with their child.

1 year of late night feedings, crazy poopy diapers from eating Pad Thai, and fussy times during growth spurts were so worth it. I am blessed to be a mom and blessed to have had this experience.

Summer Part 2

July started out with beach days and strawberry picking at James and Grace's. We had a warm week of weather but the rest of the summer has been cool. It was dry early on and then we got a couple huge storms which brought alot of rain.

The Kiddie Parade Float for 2013 was a Mexican Fiesta. Jacob joined the kids this year for the first time.

The Dacklin Family Reunion was a fun filled busy weekend. We started with a Packer Tour in Green Bay, continued to my dad's cousin's winery in Fayette, the pines park for games, and then Indian Lake State Park. We had relatives from all over the country and 3 from Sweden attended.

Goal Complete- Run a 5K

Every year I say I want to run a 5K, and it doesn't happen. This year the race happened to be on my 30th Birthday. Perfect. I trained (a little), ran the driveway with the hills, and was ready. My goal was to complete the race. Dustin and Jayda joined me too. I not only completed it but ran most of the race. Awesome to complete my goal.

Red White and Blue

Summer Part 1

Summer finally arrived. Late. But it has arrived. The first part of summer has flown by. Here's a the recap.

First Weekend of Summer Vacation
We visited Mackinac City with the Kusiner Family.

Highlights: Fort, Waterpark, Ice Cream, Mystery Spot, Monopoly.

Then we moved onto Soccer Camp with all three of the older kids playing. Each of the kids skills improved by the end of the week.
Graduation Party. A visit to Shannon and Amber's to celebrate Geoffry's gradation . We got to see most of the Denkins Family. The kids enjoyed pin ball, the pond, catching frogs, and playing with their cousins.

The two boys + Jayda and Mom = a day in Marquette to visit the farmer's market. Jenna went on her "very own vacation" with grandma Cindy and Dustin attended Coast Guard training in St. Ignace.
